Senior/Lead IFS Technicians
(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)
We are seeking skilled IFS Technicians to strengthen our Enterprise Applications Team. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting IFS Applications 10 and IFS Cloud environments, ensuring smooth operations, updates, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support IFS Applications 10 and IFS Cloud environments
- Build Place Management (Baseline, Topic, Delivery environments)
- Perform Build Validation, Sanity Builds, and Delivery Creation
- Handle Delivery, Release, Service Updates, and UPD Deployments
- License Management for IFS environments
- Setup and maintain SSO Authentication
- Install and update SSL Certificates
- Manage Kubernetes Certificates (IFS Cloud)
- Database Backups Monitoring and validation
- Perform Environment Health Checks and ongoing Environment Maintenance
- Manage and review Permission Sets periodically
- Conduct Periodic Configurations Review
- Act as a mediator between IFS and Customers for escalations, requests, and issue resolution
- Investigate and resolve environment-related issues
- Conduct Annual Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing
- Provide incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Escalate and manage support tickets with IFS Support
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience with IFS Applications 10 and/or IFS Cloud
- Strong understanding of builds, releases, service updates, and environment management
- Knowledge of SSO, SSL, Kubernetes, and database backup operations
- Experience in DR testing, troubleshooting, and incident management
- Familiarity with permission sets, configurations review, and license management
- Ability to act as a liaison between vendors (IFS) and customers
- IFS certifications or proven IFS application support experience are highly desirable
