Senior/Lead Azure Cloud Engineers
(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)
We are expanding our Cloud & Managed Services team and seeking experienced Azure Cloud Engineers who can support our customers across a wide range of Azure services—from essentials to enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- O/S Critical, Security, and Patch Management (Quarterly)
- Azure Resource Creation & Management (VMs, Networks, NSG, Gateways, Storage Accounts, etc.)
- Reservations Handling (New, Renewal, Expiry)
- Managed Disks Handling (utilization, scaling)
- VM Monitoring (Memory/CPU utilization, performance issues)
- Incident Management, Alert Setup, and Real-Time Monitoring & Action
- VM Recovery (Snapshots, Restore operations)
- Azure Policy and Compliance Enforcement
- Cost Optimization (Resizing, Reservations, Advisor recommendations)
- Disaster Recovery Design & Implementation, Testing & Validation
- Azure Migrate (On-Prem to Azure)
- Azure Security Hardening & Posture Management
- Backup Configuration & Restore Testing (VMs, Site Recovery, Key Vault Handling)
- Cloud Infrastructure Design, Implementation, and Integration with On-Premises
- Proactive Infrastructure Health Checks, Reporting, and Dashboards
- Sound Network Knowledge
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure environments
- Expertise in Azure administration, migration, monitoring, security, and disaster recovery
- Professional certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, SC-100 (or equivalent) highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and incident management skills
- Experience working in Managed Services or Enterprise Support environments is a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
