Cybersecurity Engineers
(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)
We are strengthening our Cybersecurity & Managed Services division and looking for experienced Cybersecurity Engineers to provide advanced security services for enterprise customers.
Candidates should be able to deliver both proactive defense and incident response across diverse cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to Brute Force Attacks, suspicious login attempts, and account compromise activities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
- Manage and tune alerts from Azure Security Center / Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Implement and monitor Azure Defender features across workloads
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): identify misconfigurations, enforce security baselines, and ensure compliance
- Assist in threat hunting, investigation, and remediation of incidents
- Create security reports, dashboards, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clients on security audits, compliance requirements, and risk assessments
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity operations, cloud security, or penetration testing
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center, SIEM/SOC tools
- Professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, AZ-500 (Microsoft Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
- Experience with incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
