Cloud Network Engineer Consultants

(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)

We are strengthening our Cloud & Managed Services team and looking for experienced Cloud Network Engineer Consultants with deep cloud and hybrid environment expertise. The selected candidates will design, implement, and operate secure, high-performance networks connecting our customers' cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Network Design & Implementation (Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, subnets, routing, peering)
  • Hybrid Connectivity Setup & Management (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site & Point-to-Site VPN)
  • Network Security Management (NSGs, Security Groups, Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall, WAF)
  • Load Balancing & Traffic Management (Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, AWS ELB/ALB, Traffic Manager)
  • DNS Design & Management (Azure DNS, Route 53, private DNS zones)
  • Network Segmentation & Zero-Trust Design (hub-and-spoke, micro-segmentation)
  • Network Monitoring, Diagnostics & Troubleshooting (Network Watcher, VPC Flow Logs, packet capture)
  • Latency, Throughput & Connectivity Issue Resolution across cloud and on-premises links
  • Firewall Rule Lifecycle Management, Change Control, and Documentation
  • Network Disaster Recovery Design, Testing & Validation
  • Proactive Network Health Checks, Capacity Planning, Reporting, and Dashboards
  • Support for Cloud Migrations from a Network Architecture Perspective

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience, including 2+ years in cloud or hybrid environments
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS networking services
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer), or AWS Advanced Networking highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills across complex multi-site networks
  • Experience working in Managed Services or Enterprise Support environments is a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
