Azure Architect Consultants

(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)

We are expanding our Cloud & Managed Services team and seeking experienced Azure Architect Consultants to lead the design and governance of enterprise-grade Azure environments—defining landing zones, security baselines, and migration strategies that our engineering teams deliver for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Azure Architecture Design aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
  • Landing Zone Design & Deployment (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Hub-and-Spoke Networking)
  • Governance & Compliance Design (Azure Policy, RBAC, Blueprints/Template Specs)
  • Identity & Access Architecture (Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM)
  • Migration Strategy & Oversight (Azure Migrate, assessment, wave planning, cutover)
  • Security Architecture & Posture Management (Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel integration)
  • Cost Management & Optimization Strategy (Reservations, Savings Plans, Advisor recommendations)
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery Architecture (Availability Zones, Azure Site Recovery)
  • Infrastructure as Code Standards (Bicep / Terraform) and Deployment Pipeline Design
  • Integration Design between Azure and On-Premises / Multi-Cloud Environments
  • Architecture Documentation, Diagrams, Standards, and Design Reviews
  • Technical Guidance & Mentoring for Azure Cloud Engineers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, including architecture ownership of enterprise environments
  • Expertise in landing zone design, governance, identity, networking, security, and disaster recovery on Azure
  • Professional certifications such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-104, AZ-500, or SC-100 highly desirable
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills (Bicep and/or Terraform)
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
  • Experience working in Managed Services or Enterprise Support environments is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
