AWS Architect Consultants

(Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)

We are expanding our Cloud & Managed Services team and seeking experienced AWS Architect Consultants to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS environments for our enterprise customers—from initial architecture through migration and ongoing managed operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Architecture Design & Implementation (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS, etc.)
  • Multi-Account Landing Zone Setup & Governance (AWS Organizations, Control Tower, SCPs)
  • Well-Architected Framework Reviews and Remediation Planning
  • Migration Planning & Execution (On-Prem to AWS using AWS MGN, DMS, and related tooling)
  • IAM Design, Security Hardening & Posture Management (GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF)
  • Cost Optimization (Right-sizing, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Trusted Advisor)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) and CI/CD Pipeline Integration
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery Design, Implementation, Testing & Validation
  • Backup Configuration & Restore Testing (AWS Backup, snapshots, cross-region strategies)
  • Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Management (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EventBridge)
  • Hybrid Connectivity Design (Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway)
  • Proactive Infrastructure Health Checks, Reporting, and Dashboards
  • Technical Guidance & Mentoring for Cloud Engineers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and operating AWS environments
  • Expertise in AWS architecture, migration, security, networking, and cost management
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Security Specialty highly desirable
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
  • Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and incident management skills
  • Experience working in Managed Services or Enterprise Support environments is a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
